About the Event

In today's society, there are plenty of responsible civilians who have taken on the role of being vigilant and prepared for the dangers of this world.  These individuals carry a self-defense firearm and hopefully will never have to utilize their weapon.

However...we live in a world that is full of uncertainties and if you have ever turned on the news, you hear of the some of the atrociously violent attacks that individuals and familys have been subjected to.  This is where our CQ -Pistol: Handgun Defense Courses come in.  We want to train individuals to their fullest potential to enhance their effectiveness in handling a violent encounter while deploying their own personal-defense firearm.  This Course is a Basic to Beginner Level Training on Defensive Firearm Tactics and Firearm Control.  This isn't a conceal carry class, this is a step up in developing the tactics needed to deal with a life-threatening violent situation.

Our Handgun Defense Courses are being instructed by John Mairose.

John Mairose is a Firearms Instructor with an extensive background in firearm tactics and real world experience:

  • 20+ yeas of Law Enforcement
  • DEA Task Force Narcotics Investigator
  • SWAT
  • Former FBI Task Force Officer
  • NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor
  • And the list keeps going on.

John Mairose takes all of his years of experience and breaks it down into an easy-to-learn course that is speficially designed to build and enhance the skills needed for your personal defense needs.
